I offer Strategic Intervention and Training

in matters of

Conflict Resolution and Organizational Development

For

Non-profits - Governments - Communities - Private sector

I have over 25 years of experience living and working in Canada's North and with Aboriginal communities. I am passionate about working with people, facilitating relationship building and creating new visions.

I offer a unique approach incorporating my core strengths of:

Insight: I am highly intuitive and introspective. I approach situations with a systemic perspective which allows me to “connect the dots”.

Empathy: My strong empathic ability allows me to be a good listener, easily understand people, and develop solid relationships. I am very comfortable with the emotional aspect of individual and group processes. In my experience, decisions guided by empathy and kindness are the most successful.

Strategy: As a strategic thinker I quickly notice patterns, make sense of seemingly unrelated information, and suggest a plan of action.

Creativity: I totally enjoy being creative, looking at an idea from different angles or generating a multitude of options for a given situation. I am constantly expanding my knowledge base either through reading, conversations or workshops.

Experience:  I have worked with all levels of government including: Federal, Territorial, First Nations and Municipal. In addition, I enjoyed working for many non-profit organizations.   I have been self-employed between 1993 and 2015.  I then worked for 5 years for the Federal Government in Ottawa, followed by 2 years with Yukon Government.  I am now back to being self-employed in September of 2023.
